HEJ ELJAY!
I be Janet, a fifteen year old girl from Aussie-tralia of 1/2 Taiwanese, 1/8 Ceylonese & 3/8 Anglo-Saxon blood and I ♥ MUSIC! I am zany, so if you're not be mildly afraid because my journal doesn't have much substance unless you like reading the random lollings of teenage girls [paedo!]. But if you're willing to put up with teh fangirling, obsessing over rockstars & the occasional footballer as well as ZOMG a coherent entry then you might like me.

I love music of all kind and I'm not going to be all 1337 and condemn rap or hip hop or r'n'b because I'm cool wit' dat. My favourite classical composer is Franz Liszt, yo, he is the shizz of the Romantic period and the most awesome pianist virtuoso. But for now let's >>> fast forward and enter this century, I am a bit of a indie/alt/electro/brit/rock aficionado with my current still young favourites being Larrikin Love, Black Wire, Jeremy Warmsley, Arcade Fire and Patrick Wolf, but rest assured I love tonnes more, they are just more notable. But my love for them is nothing compared to my love of the classics...Suede, Teh Man1x, Pulp, Blur, Radiohead, The Smiths, The Cure, David Bowie, The Faint, The Beatles, My Bloody Valentine, The Jesus and Mary Chain and how could anyone forget...TAKE THAT! Aha okay that's all I'll write in this section, if I wrote ALL the bands I liked then we'd be here all day.



I enjoy going to the movies and some of my favourites include those made by the AzN SeNsAtIoN- Stephen Chow, who totally pwns in the comedy stakes. I like foreign films featuring hotmexicanboysplz stunning cinematography and actors, I am infatuated with Y'Tu Mama Tambien, Bad Education, The Motorcycle Diaries, Amelie and Les Choristes. And what self respecting indie un-labelled kid would I be without the great independent cinema which showcases beauties like Thumbsucker, Donnie Darko, 24 Hour Party People and *sigh* I hate to say I love this film since everyone has jumped on its "my quota is filled" bandwagon but I have to mention Napoleon Dynamite. Now for the blockbusters considering I am not immune to Hollywood's awesome magic: Pirates of the Carribean, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Labryinth, A Clockwork Orange, ALL THE BEATLES FILMS and of course Pride and Predjudice.



Okay I must admit I have a little addiction to reality television, I just love it, there's never been a reality television show I didn't like, my current love is Big Brother UK- MIKEY TO WIN PLZ ♥! I also love Kath and Kim, Little Britain, The Office, The Mighty Boosh, Black Books, Nerds F.C Ranma 1/2, Cardcaptor Sakura, my childhood all time favourite- The Animals of Farthing Wood and god knows how much more.



Okay tecks not all of what I'm going to mention comes under books but if I like reading it I'll damn well put it down it's my user info I can do whatever the hell I want...I digress, so I am in love with WWI poetry with my favourite poets of the era being Owen and Sassoon. Leopold von Sacher-Masoch, Oscar Wilde, Marquis de Sade, Charles Baudelaire, Lord Byron, Sylvia Plath, Vladimir Nabokov, Voltaire, Albert Camus and Poppy Z. Brite rub me up the right way too. I also enjoy book series with notable favourites such as the Harry Potter series, A Series of Unfortunate Events, any Tortall series by Tamora Pierce, The Chronicles of Narnia and anything and everything J.R.R Tolkien has touched. But I am a bit of a bookworm so rest assured I will try and give everything a go especially religious texts like the Qu'uran (my Muslim friends cannot believe I read it in Year Seven) and The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail which totez pwns the Da Vinci Code.
